The Business Link London website is a one-stop-shop for businesses looking for financial incentives and tax breaks by going green, advice on setting up environmental policy and how to manage a greener business going forward. The site also includes sections on waste control and hazardous substances.
The Carbon Trust
The Carbon Trust helps business and the public sector cut carbon emissions and supports the development of low carbon technologies. They offer practical help and advice including in-depth reports, training events and seminars and free energy surveys. They also provide funding for research projects, technology acceleration and strategic advice to bring low-carbon technologies to market.
WRAP
WRAP – ‘material change for a better environment’ – works in partnership to encourage and enable businesses and consumers to be more efficient in their use of materials and recycle more things more often, helping to minimise landfill, reduce carbon emissions and improve our environment.
Enhanced Capital Allowances
Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECAs) enable a business to claim 100% first-year tax relief on qualifying plant and machinery specified on the Energy Technology List (ETL). For a business that pays corporation tax at 30%, every £1,000 spent on qualifying equipment would reduce it’s tax bill in the year of purchase by £300.

The TransportEnergy website provides free advice and information about reducing the cost and environmental impact of car/van/freight fleets. The site contains reviews for fleet management, details on schemes and free travel planning.
The Energy Saving Trust
The Energy Saving Trust (EST) is a non-profit organisation funded by government and the private sector. This section of its website aims to assist concerned individuals, fleet operators, employer and local authorities in reducing carbon emissions relating to transport and travel.

Federation of Small Business
The FSB is the largest campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms.
