The IntelliPanel, along with similar products such as Bye Bye Standby, is a clever plug device that switches off your TV, stereo, PC etc either with a touch of a button or automatically, so you don’t have to leave them on standby. Many people don’t switch their major appliances off at the mains as it can be a hassle or simple because they forget. But leaving them on standby uses much more energy than switching them off. The IntelliPanel makes it easier for you to/more likely that you will switch everything off.Pros

The IntelliPanel isn't great with laptops - the battery often kicks in when you switch it off at the mains.
